The affordable ARMSTEL Amedicom™ dual-mode series medical grade LCD displays are designed and commissioned to be the only desktop computer monitors a doctor needs.
ARMSTEL Amedicom™ MDA2121-TSA terminal device is a 21.6" Photo-electronic multi- touch LCD NEMA DICOM PS 3.14-2009 specification compliant end user touchscreen monitoring device with dual display functions. It is a new member of ARMSTEL Amedicom™ series patented (pending) dual-functional LCD color monitors that can be used as a regular high-end color touchscreen computer LCD color monitor, and a DICOM specification compliant grayscale medical display, at a fraction of regular DICOM medical LCD monitor's cost. This is achieved by applying ARMSTEL's invention, a world leading breakthrough technology, ARMSTEL ARMSATT®, to realize 11-bit grayscale display (2048 grayscale levels) on a regular commercial LCD 8-bit color monitor. Amedicom™ LCD display can also switch between regular commercial LCD monitor and medical display monitor easily by ARMSTEL's patented switching solution (patent pending). ARMSTEL Amedicom™ MDA2121-TSA model provides a button to calibrate the medical LCD monitor and stabilize the backlights of the monitor to comply with the DICOM standard. It is done by our new high-tech built-in photodiode sensors, backlight control mechanism and advanced embedded technology to automatically calibrate the display to the medical standard and stabilize the backlights for the diagnostic quality of medical image display.
This new model does not need Simlux™ meter to calibrate the monitor. However, customer can still use the Simlux™ meter and Calispector™, to easily inspect and calibrate the monitor when needed, as a member of the Amedicom™ series medical LCD displays.
